More than 1,000 expected at tribal gaming meet

The 10th annual Western Indian Gaming Conference kicks off today in Palm Springs, California.

Sponsored by the California Nations Indian Gaming Association, the event is expected to draw more than 1,000 people over the next two days. Seminars on Class II gaming and a trade show are on the agenda.

CNIGA chairman Anthony Miranda will also present his second State of the Tribal Nations address this morning.
