On Native America Calling
For Monday: Childhood Sexual Abuse and Suicide - Victims of sexual abuse are usually the most vulnerable of our population – children. Child victims often don't know who to turn to, and are told not to talk about what they've experienced. They frequently turn to suicide, if not as children, then later when they are adults. Why aren't we rushing the streets demanding programs and education to prevent this prevalent rape? What is it about sexual abuse that keeps us quiet?
